AutoSort - Python File Organizer

AutoSort is a simple tool that organizes files in a folder by file type, creation date, or both.

• autosort_gui.py: Actual python file

Requirements

• Python 3.7+
• Tkinter (included with most Python installs)

How to Use

python autosort_gui.py

Then:

1. Select a folder
2. Choose how to sort (file type, date, or both)
3. Click Organize

Supported Categories

• Images, Documents, Videos, Audio, Archives, Code
• Others are placed in an "Others" folder

Perfect For
